Message From MD's Desk On "68th Happy Independance Day" Celeberation

My Dear Friends,
It is my proud privilege to greet you all personally on this Glorious occasion of India's 68th Independence Day  today.

I am sure none amongst us here were born before 15th Aug.1947 but the very mention of the word Independence brings back nostalgic memories to all those who love their beloved country. They are moments of sheer magic when a nation held in bondage for centuries breaks free from the shackles of foreign rule and breathes in winds of freedom. The vivid first-hand stories of the heroic struggle that I heard from my parents, grandparents and teachers, make my heart tremble even today. I have ever remained grateful to the people who gave this great gift of independence to us. I request you too to remember them with gratitude. The country that suffered slavery is the very country that has been admired by many in the West. We need to be proud of that legacy.

Albert Einstein has said of India: “We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made.”

The famous German scholar Max Muller observed, “If I were asked under what sky the human mind has most fully developed some of its choicest gifts, has most deeply pondered on the greatest problems of life, and has found solutions, I should point to India.”

And Mark Twain who is known for his satirical comments observes seriously that India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured In India. Such a great nation that was the source of wisdom is ours and ours only.

In the face of scepticism and even ridicule from others, India stood up to the challenge of making a success of its independence and proved its critics wrong on many counts. Today, it is the largest democracy and is poised for keeping its tryst with destiny. It is true that there are many hurdles at present, and some major failures on certain fronts, but the country is relentlessly surging ahead. The progress may not always be dramatic, but it is sure and steady.

Friends, last year we celebrated this day as journey of togetherness towards progress & prosperity. Considering work schedules, I was only able to communicate with everyone through mail.

Today, I am glad to be able to share my thoughts personally, on our journey ahead. We are very soon going to celebrate our 2nd anniversary in the month of October. Past two years have been very challenging for us, but where we are today would not have been possible without immense support, not only from you but from your families also. Needless to say that a 100% support from our parent company be it capacity utilization, financial increments or product support, over and above their moral support have played a key role in establishing LIPL.

On this occasion it gives me pleasure to announce that soon we are going to introduce two new products for the Indian market in the month of Nov'14 and the official launching of these products shall be during Agrotech Exhibition in Chandigarh. I am sure that with these additional products we will be able to surpass older boundaries and subjugate the field.

Independence gave us the freedom to shape our own destiny. We at LIPL are privileged and have been empowered to shape our future in such free, open and participative work environment. It is therefore our absolute responsibility to live up to the expectations. The management of this company finance us for our sustenance in the hope that we shall change the environment and usher in a better future for them. We cannot afford to disappoint the hopes and faith that they have bestowed on us.

What Kind of company shall we build my friends? What sort of Employees shall we become? How shall we ensure that this MNC, as our company is historically known to be, is able to avoid the challenges of Quality, Technology, Price, After Sales Service, and Professionalism? How shall we become great, not only in expertise and experience, to prosper in our endeavours, but also display qualities of fearlessness, commitment, effective utilization, seriousness towards organization and courage that will sanctify and guard our prosperity and happiness for ever?

Friends, I must admit that today with your support we are self-reliant but financially we are still dependent. We still have to put our sincere efforts and have to go a long way before we become independent.

We are and will remain dedicated towards standing strong and becoming independent.

Jai Hind.
